Five years from my last family update because I started working more, we have a growing family, and I did not want to post out of date, or forget a single memory, so I stopped writing.  I'm just picking up right here.  Matt and Holly got married in June 2012.
It was a fabulous event.  Ben, Taylor, and I flew to Wisconsin.  Holly's family was wonderfully welcoming.  It was a great time!
Before the wedding, Dan, Holly's dad, took this picture for us.  And here are some more pictures...

We always said we wanted to go back and visit.  We said we would attend other weddings of Holly's brother's and sister's.  Unfortunately, that has not happened.  But, it sounds like we will have more opportunities to visit Wisconsin.

Good-bye 660, 5-20-12

Our 2005 Grizzly 660 was starting to have a few problems so Ben thought it best we get a new one before we found ourselves stranded on a long ride.  Taylor was very sad to see it go.

Our first weekend at camp with the new Grizzly 700.  We didn't have the extra seat bolted on so we didn't go for a very long ride, but Taylor did pick a baggy full of mushrooms and we did get into some snow.  I think Taylor will adjust just fine.

Taking Taylor's Dog for a Walk on Tubbs Hill, 5-14-12

I never cease to be impressed with the beautiful place we are blessed to live.  Because Ben has been working in Seattle for the past 2 years, we try to make the most of our weekends.  I love to walk Tubbs Hill, so Ben took Taylor and I out for a little hike one Monday before heading back to work.  Taylor brought her "dog."

I had gotten over a year behind in posting and in trying to get caught up, I just don't want to skip too much, just because this was before Taylor started kindergarten and so many changes have occurred in our lives.

Mother's Day 2012

On Mother's Day 2012 we went to Avondale Golf Club for brunch.  Although, Matt works many weekends, I'm so glad he was able to come out for brunch before heading off to work.  He and Holly actually met Ben for golf, early, before brunch.

Dave and Jeanette (grandpa and grandma) met us for brunch as well.

Taylor had a little gift for me

After brunch we went and watched YeoWon play a little soccer...
Then Taylor and I rode along in the golf cart while Holly and Ben played the back nine.

I just love to be out with a glass of wine and enjoy the scenery.  Holly let me hit a few, I'm really not so good, but I do enjoy getting some pictures...

A few days before Mother's Day, Holly watched Taylor, while I had dinner with some mom friends.  When I went to pick her up, I was completely surprised with a cupcake bouquet...
I was so impressed with the detail of the "dirt" made of oreo cookie crumbs with gummy worms and every cupcake decorated with a flower...
And a card made with Taylor's hand print!!  So sweet!!  Thanks Holly!!

Ear Piercing with Taylor, 4-21-12

I always wanted to wait until Taylor was ready to have her ears pierced and make a fun day of it.  She sounded like this day would not come anytime soon.  Then, one week she wanted it, and she wanted her dad to be there.  These are her before lobes...
We waited for there to be two ladies there so her ears could be done at the same time.  This meant we had to kill a little time and Taylor picked out a little stuffed chameleon to remember the day.

First they cleaned and marked her ears...

He dad stood in front of her to hold her hand and I took pictures...

She was so very brave and did not shed even one tear...
She was pleased with the results and her cute earrings.

This was a very exciting day and she did very well allowing me to clean them, without any complaints, during the healing time.
