An Evening at Matt's, August 29, 2010

This is the entry way that Matt tiled. Let it be noted that he never tiled anything when he lived at my house, but good to know I might be able to perhaps ask for some tile now. The bench is from a log that Ben cut off our property. Matt and his grandpa (Ben's dad) worked on putting it together, cutting, sanding, and staining. The brand is from Ben's grandpa, CE Dowers. Matt actually won the brand at a family "greedy" game at a Christmas party in 2009. He then gave it to Grandma Jeanette, because he loves her.
I think Ben helped Matt make this game too. I know I have personally sewn several little bags filled with corn and then more with pellets.
It was a lot of fun...
We switched and had several combinations of teams. Me and Matt, Holly and Ben, Me and Holly, etc.
It became evident after a while that I was the weakest link...
Matt made us dinner and we had a nice visit and a lot of fun playing games. Taylor liked running around Matt's nice, big, green backyard.
