Taylor and I spent a day at Classical Christian Academy to check it out. We had previously spent a good hour with the head master to make sure this was the school for us. We went on Chapel day, when the children wear their official uniforms.
I sat back and watched as Taylor participated with the other children. Of course, taking a few pictures here and there. I'm not so sure if they would like me do this on her first day of kindergarten. I was thrilled to see how much Taylor was able to participate with the drills and activities. The teacher even asked me if she had attended preschool at all previously. She has not, so I was so glad she did so well, especially since she does not always like to practice at home with me.
Finger painting was fun...
The teacher put down shaving cream and glue and let the kiddos create...
Taylor started out rather slowly, as she was not to sure about getting her fingers too dirty...
Then she had more fun with it.
It was a great day and after seeing how well she did I felt very reassured that she will be just fine when kindergarten starts in the Fall. I really think she will LOVE it. I also really loved how God is a part of everything and how well mannered the children were and how much this was encouraged...gentlemen open the doors and ladies first.
