For anyone who is not aware, Wednesday is $.99 kids' meal day at Applebees. My cousin and I sometimes take the girls out to lunch. They always enjoy the time together. While Taylor and I were waiting for Lorinda and the girls, Taylor assisted one of the waitresses in pushing in some chairs. Taylor does like things orderly.
The waitress made a comment like, "Thank you...I have a job for you." As she walked away, Taylor looked at me and waved and said good-bye. As far as she was concerned she had a job and she would just see me later. She followed the waitress over to the register.
The waitress kindly assisted Taylor in entering some information into the computer.
Taylor thought that was great fun. They rewarded Taylor with a free desert card. When her daddy came home, she proudly informed him that she too "worked" today.

I know! They were very nice to her! It probably helps that we go during the week when it may not be quite as busy.
